This Week

Our Young Women went rock climbing.

Sadie did such a great job, better than I could, by far!

And, Noah graduated from pre-school.

He'll miss his friends,

I'll miss the 2 hour break.

Blog Neglect

This blog has been seriously neglected of late. Partly, no, completely because of my focus on the 'other' one. I'm toying with the idea of suspending this one.  Since I am now putting pictures of us on 'frazzled' it seems redundant to keep this going.  I don't know. Any opinions?

(We were at the Bountiful temple on Friday for my niece's wedding. The weather was gorgeous, as were the flowers and trees. Just thought I'd share.)

Spring Break Shenanigans

As you know, our spring break has been less than 'springy'. We spent the week indoors, trying not to drive each other crazy.

 We celebrated Sadie's 15th birthday with

Better than -ahem- Homework Cake.

 The older 3 kids painted Sadie's room.

I came home to find they had also painted themselves. Honestly, you'd think

teenagers would know better. Then again, they are teenagers.

(Note to self- don't leave the kids home alone when they're painting.)

And they all built wooden puzzles. We love these things.

I'm amazed how quickly they can put them together.

They were happy to sleep in and goof off all week.

I'm happy they'll be going back to school on Monday!

15 years- can you believe it?

Two's

Last week in 2's-

2 (more) of my kids got glasses-

That makes four. Poor things inherited

my eyesight genes.

Also, I made 2 bags in three days-

This one is a diaper bag for my sister

who just had a baby. (I swapped the button

for a round, brown one.)

If I sold these, I would call this one,

'chocolate chip mint'.
And, I made a new church/YW bag.

Ta-da!

I've never had anything that was animal print.
It makes me feel all fashionable.

I'm especially pleased with the bow.
I figured out how to make it all on my own.

I made them so fast, maybe I should do it
professionally.
Hahahahaha! My back is still recovering.

Flashback

Our Young Women had New Beginnings last week. The theme was 'Be Loyal to the Royal that is in you. For you are the Daughter of a King.' The girls had the option to dress up as princesses for the event. I pulled out my prom dress (circa 1983) for Sadie to try on. It fit amazingly well.
She thought it was old-fashioned. It is. But, it is very princess-y and when we got to the church, she couldn't quit twirling around in it. =}

On a different note, Noah is loving pre-school and I love that he's learning so much. He recognizes letters and numbers everywhere. Even in scraps of paper. He picked this up off the floor and said, "Look, a 'one'."
