Ode to Patrick

I uploaded pictures from my camera and found these. I don't know who was dressing up our dog, but it shows what a good sport he is. We all love Patrick so much. We got him 5 years ago when my sister (very generously) gave him to us from her dog's first litter. He is named after the Spongebob character, but that's where the similarities end.
He's a very laid-back, quiet dog. He never barks at the door when someone arrives, mostly he just jumps on anyone who walks in. NOT a guard dog. He doesn't lick (thank goodness, I hate that). He's very patient with the kids, only growling when they aren't nice. Can't say I blame him. I think I growl more than he does.
He loves to sleep on the boy's bed at night. He likes to play fetch, usually at 9pm. He likes ice. Funny, huh? If you toss a piece across the floor, he'll chase it down. His favorite place is sitting on my lap. Guy teases him because he will sit outside our bedroom door if he knows I'm in there. The kids think he's their dog, but really, he knows who loves him most.
