Going to Ground Zero was surreal. It didn't seem possible that this enormous hole in the ground was the place I had visited years before. Seeing the wall with all the names of those who died made me cry. Every name represented a family that was grieving, mothers, fathers, children and friends.
It's hard to look at the pictures of the devastation, but I think we have to remember the horror of that day. It helps us keep in mind how blessed we are to live in this great land.
2 Nephi 10:11- And this land shall be a land of liberty..
I am so grateful to the men and women who are defending our rights and freedoms, who put themselves in harms' way, so that I can sit here in Layton Utah and enjoy my family. I can go to the store and drive wherever I please. My children go to school each day and most importantly, I can worship the way that I want.

"And it came to pass that he rent his coat; and he took a piece therof, and wrote upon it- In
memory of our God, our religion, and fredom, and our peace, our wives and our children-and he fastened it on the end of a pole.
memory of our God, our religion, and fredom, and our peace, our wives and our children-and he fastened it on the end of a pole.
...and he took the pole, which had on the end therof his rent coat, (and he called it the title of liberty) and he bowed to the earth, and he prayed mightily unto his God for the blessings of liberty to rest upon his brethren, so long as there should a band of Christians remain to possess the land-" Alma 46:12-13
