They're Back!!

Hi, my name is Julie and I'm a TV-holic. It's true, I watch way too much television. I won't make any excuses, because I don't plan on changing any time soon. I married the right person, because he likes it, too. So, we've been waiting for this week, quite impatiently, I might add.
And, this is what we've been waiting for- The Office

and, Survivor. They both start tomorrow night, and we are so excited. The Office makes me laugh, not the laugh of watching your kids do crazy things, but the laugh of smart, grown-up humor. I need that sometimes, just like I need to talk to other women on occasion. It makes me feel like I am still a grown-up and am capable of converstations that don't include the words 'potty' or 'sipper cup', or phrases like, 'Please don't climb on that.' or 'If you talk back to me one more time...'
Survivor is a great escape from the real world, ('reality TV' is such a joke, what's real about living on an island with 16 strangers? Come take care of my 7 kids, there's reality for you.) We like rooting for our favorites and getting frustrated when the conniving ones don't get voted off.
Television is an escape and one we enjoy. We were living with a sister-in-law once and she was quite disgusted with our TV habits. She told us to get a hobby, what did she think TV was?? :)

Let the games begin!!!!!!!!!

I have only seen earlier episodes of The Office but it is hilarious! One of these days I'll rent the whole seasons and catch up! Survivor - I gave it up a couple of seasons ago after the girls that took off their shirts for Oreos. In all honesty - I had to make room for Dancing With the Stars, Heroes, American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance. I do try to limit myself - hee hee!
