Obsession

Don't tell my husband, but I've been spending some time with another man. He's younger, really good looking, successful and foreign. (from Canada- so, sort of foreign) His name is Michael Buble and I am in love with his voice. Oh, wow. Have you heard this young man sing? OK, so he's been around for a while and I'm a little late in getting on the fan-wagon, but better late than never. Seriously, his voice is like chocolate and you know how I feel about chocolate. It's smooth and rich and creamy and makes you feel good. His voice or chocolate? Oh, both!

I've always loved his song, "Home", and just heard his new one, "Lost" and I loved it so much I spent my Pepsi points to put it on my MP3. (Finally, drinking all that diet Pepsi is paying off!)

The bad thing is I just discovered his website (MichaelBuble.com) and you can watch videos of some of his songs. I HIGHLY recommend you go on and watch the "Lost" video- sooooo good. The only thing better than listening to him sing, is watching him sing.

I have been spending time with my headphones on, Michael singing, tuning everyone else out. I had it so loud one night that I couldn't hear the phone ringing and it was on my chair. My kids think I'm so weird. It reminded me of when I was a teen-ager and would listen to love songs and daydream about kissing that really cute guy in my Seminary class (yes, John Clements, I mean you). Now, I don't daydream when I listen, I just listen. If I did daydream it wouldn't be about making out, I can do that whenever I want. No, my daydreams would be much different. I'd daydream about things like having a maid who comes twice a week, kids that don't talk back and having a body like Faith Hill.

Nope, no daydreaming, I'll just close my eyes and enjoy.
