Gratitude Post

I didn't get to do this yesterday, because it was crazy! I cooked dinner for my in-laws and then had Sadie's 'Evening of Excellence' for young womens. So, here goes.
I am grateful for my mother and father-in-law. I know there are lots of jokes about in-laws and I've probably told a few. My in-laws couldn't be more different than my family. Where my family is loud and boisterous, Guy's family is quiet and restrained. My family is very open about showing affection and saying 'I love you'. Guy's parents don't hug (except the little kids) and I don't think I've ever heard them say 'I love you' to anyone. The thing is, they are good people. They are kind and generous to a fault. Their home is always open. They never yell or say anything bad about others.
They may be different, but I love them and am grateful to them for raising their son to be the man I married. Besides, being different is good. If everyone were like my family, it'd be a little overwhelming.

Too true! We are overwhelming. Funny thing: I'm going to my gratitude post on my in-laws.
